I would like to thank you all for the Tips and Advice that i received previously on picking my 1st Ever Road Bike, Cheers I Love my bike and have been racking up the Miles over recent weeks, Awesome
As i have found myself doing more and more cycling, i have found the need to buy some "Smart" Cycling Jerseys etc so that at least i can look like the lads in Tour De France, even if i cant Cycle anywhere near as Fast and as Awesome as each and every 1 of them,
I already have the basic padded shorts and a few cheap jerseys etc which i bought in Sports Direct which are great but i am looking to invest in some "Serious Cycling Gear" 8)
I have been told by quite a few people to watch with the sizing as European sizing is much different and American sizing is different too? Can somebody please help me find which size Jerseys i should be buying as i am struggling to find any specific sizes for these Jerseys and Bib shorts etc? I am 6 Ft 2 and approx 17st and i dont fancy ripping my Cycling Gear while Cycling the Roads, haha! Any help would be much apprciated, Cheers

I'm about the same height as you but a few stone lighter, not a rake, but slim, more sort of Adonis like (loud cough) and need to buy xl for most European shorts and jerseys, even though L fits me for most regular clothes. I assume you are more "muscular" than I am so I would recommend you order xxl stuff. I bought a rain cape in Italy and needed an xxl which is unheard of for me, but Italian stuff is notorious for coming up small.0

if you just started cycling as regular exercise, it might be better to hold off spending too much on clothing, or getting more than a couple of items...
unless you've been doing other regular/hard exercise, you could drop quite a bit of weight over the next few months, so what fits today could be a bit baggy by the new year!my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Jerseys are a nightmare size wise I have everything from large to xxx large depending on the source, I'd suggest trying it on first (you can always buy it online if its cheaper once you know the size).0

Good news, Lidl are having a cycling promotion on the 5th. The stuff is very reasonably priced and will serve you well until the new slender version of you emerges after all your healthy exercise Then you can do your wallet some serious damage. The older I get the faster I was0
