longer seatposts???

hi,
just got a new bike :D because i have grown out of my old one...
but i would like to use the old one as a winter training bike, is there anyway to lenghten the seatpost, like some sort of adapter??? or can i just get a new longer one?

    If you need a longer seatpost, you will need a new seatpost (not an adaptor).

    Not sure how long you need, but Thompson do a 400mm version. If you need longer than that, you've bought the wrong frame.

    Ritchey also do a 400 mmm version as well - I have a WCS one sitting in my drawer.

    1st line - he's grown out of his old bike (literally) but he wants to use it as his winter trainer by using a longer seat tube.
