Hi I've just got a new bike and in my haste to get out and ride i didn't pay attention to what pedal i was putting on what crank arm and low and be hold i put them on the wrong way round and the drive side crank arm has completely stripped the thread strangely the side is completely ok. Is there anything i can do as i really don't want to buy a new ultegra crank.

try your LBS or local garage, they mey be able to tap a new thread or helicoil on the crank arm

Yup - as above 5 minute job, call it £15 for cash.

    No great drama.

You will remember tto slap loads of copperslip on there next time you do it up won't you?

    Next please.

Ah hello, Sir, good to see you again. How is the gazelle?
  • Thanks guys I'll give them a call in the morning and hopefully get back on the road as soon as.
