I have a 36 van 180mm coil up front and a dhx RC2 out back.
The sag is about spot on and i'm using the correct amount of travel down the downhill, i'm just after a few pointers really.
What i'm finding is that on steep descents when I dab a little front brake to slow, the fork ramps through its travel fairly fast and the rear seems to push forwards.
I think I might have the rebound settings a bit wrong (confusng me becasue the -ve on the fork increases rebound and the +ve decreases it)... with the above taken into account, should I be increasing the rebound on the front and slowing it down on the rear?
Also, can anyone explain exactly what the bottom out control valve actually does and how it affects the ride?
I've got it set at around 150psi, but I'm not really sure what its supposed to be doing.
Cheers,
NM.

Superb, muchos grassy ass for that. Makes sense now, think I'll try a bit less pressure!0 -
You hit the anchors, your weight moves forward. This compresses the fork, and unweights the rear. Try more low speed fork damping, and thinking about your body position and weighting.0

Yeah its def my body position as well... its a strange feeling for me being able to float down without scrubbing of any speed. The bike will take it, just not my mind yet!
Cheers I'll have a go... sucks having a 5-10 min push up and the a 1 min down
By the time i'm back at the top i've forgotten what the settings did haha!0 -
