Out of interest, how many of you guys & girls use Endomondo when you're riding?

  • Have got it loaded on the phone but not had a chance to get out and try it yet. Read good things about it though.

Sorry - didn't finish the message!

...(Endomondo.com + Endomondo phone app for sports tracking)

It'd be good to get a little Bike Radar team on there.

I have set up the team "Team Bike Radar - MTB" which is open for applications.

It is good to the point where I drowned my phone the other day on a very wet ride so the next day no phone/no Endomondo and after my ride it didn't even feel like I'd been out because the stats weren't online - no proof! except memories and mud on my legs but that's not enough anymore! New phone now so all good...

@ nicklouse - what you on about? -

I "need to get out more" then point me to a post from 5 months ago?

Which anyway, has nothing to do with setting up a team (not a challenge) on Endomondo for Bike Radar mountain bikers.

I tend to prefer CardioTrainer on Android, but might get in on some of this action.

What's the penalty for leaving it running in the car on my trip home from Salisbury?

The Android (Endomondo) app is better than the iPhone app anyway. Using a mates iPhone now as I drowned my Android phone. Gotta Motorola Defy on the way - a waterproof, dustproof, bash proof Android phone. Sounds ideal - we'll see how long it lasts...

    :? still no clearer.

I have set up a team for us bike radar mountain bike forum members just to have some other form of communication off the forum and see where everyone else is riding, what routes they're doing etc. The other thing was/is a challenge to see who's done the most miles as far as I can gather (?). Anyway - the team is going well - FIVE members and counting

There already IS an Endomondo group. Ask if you can join it if you want.
Why have another means of communicating "off the forum", that's what email, facebook etc etc are for!

aha - well didn't someone tell me that? for the love of god! WHY??

I did do a search for Bike Radar (on Endomodo) and nothing came up. So how do I join? Or maybe I should stick to my splinter cell and try and draw people away from the original team..

    ..wanna join? :)

Anyone have any teeth they want pulling? May be less painful than this thread. ;-)
  • Excellent piece of software. I've been using it for about six months now to track walking, cycling (on and off-road) and running. Great website to give you an overview of what you've been up to.

    Hi Guys.

I've just loaded endomondo on my HTC Desire, and am thinking about a bike mount. The branded kit looks good - but costs. There are some cheaper 'splashproof' ones around the 'net for much less. Just wondered if anyone has any comments/advice please?

    Thanks.
  • I have used Endomondo .... Don't use it for all riding, but do intend to use it more over the winter as I intend to do a lot more cycling

    Ok, now i'm confused.... :?

I use Endomondo and would like to join in but don't know which group to join.... Have found the Bike Radar one mentioned here - will that do it or has everyone deserted that one now??

It's been a long day

I've just sent a request to join as well. Been using endomondo for a while now. Personally I wouldn't bother with a bike mount as the screen times out, you'd have to keep unlocking the phone just to see the info.
