Anyone doing this on Sunday?
Please be aware that after the heavy rain on Thursday many of the roads out in the New Forest are bound to be littered with run-off debris, especially at the entrances/exits to carparks and enclosures.

Yeah, I'll be packing extra inner tubes. Still according to the forecast it should be good flat tyre changing weather!0

Did 30 mile training ride this afternoon on part of the course.
Can confirm that there is debris on some parts of the course, but not as bad as I thought it would be. All the fords are now clear/dry, but have silt/gravel around them. Looks like Hants CC have been out and about on couple of roads that were flooded and done a fine clean up job.
I would like to draw attention to the left hand corner at the bottom of long run down from Blissford. This is about 2-3 miles from finish. Loads of gravel/sand on the corner, not one for taking at any speed. Gently Bently as they say.
If prevailing wind remains there is a fair lick of breeze over the top part of course to Blissford. The drag across the old airfield after climb through Bolder Wood is wind behind
so 20+mph quite comfortable.
Care also needs to be taken on some cattle grids around the forest as some of the concrete lintels before and after the grids are eroded, opening up some nice big holes in some instances.
Hope it stays dry. And all set for a cracking ride out. See you there ,will be on Cube Peleton.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -

Well, I did this today, my first Sportive so i've nothing to compare it against but it seemed very well organised and the 79 mile route was well marked out and on nice quiet roads and everyone was very friendly. I've never seen so many cyclists at the side of the road fixing punctures before, thankfully I wasn't one of them!Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702
