Well, all I can say is this is what happens when you try to turn into a corner mid drop when you don't really have the precision skill to do it! (yes it is me crashing in the vid)
Ah well, still had a good laugh and I-cycles re-build me a new wheel in 2 hours and sent me back on my way (not may LBS's could manage that!)

My mate once had toe clips on his pedals (why?!) and one caught on something on the same section. It is tempting to take that bit pretty quick though.0 -

yeah it's the one before the section with quite a few north shorey bits in it.
Did it the next day again no sweat, although on reflection there isn't much room on that corner! I was clipped in but it didn't really have any bearing on why I crashed0 -

No I'm no big time air rider on an MTB, but that was sheer lack of commitment by the rider, I reckon he believed he was going to crash as soon as he saw the drop off..0 -
Those of you that want to know what section that is, it's Hit Squad Hill. Great fun little trail that, how you managed to do that on that drop I don't know (I mean to the wheel, not crashing).0

That laughing in the background was well annoying. Made the same mistake a few times, especially when it's slippery out!0
