what tool kit ?

Possibly covered a few times before but not recently.

I need a kit to work on the allez, I have normal tools for working on the car but my allez possibly needs a new bottom bracket (got a clicking and that's the last thing it could be).

Looking on ebay there's an icetoolz kit that looks like it will provide everthing I need. Any body have experiance of this kit or recommend another kit circa £40?

A very valid approach. However if you're going to fettle your bike (highly recommended), there are some things you'll need regularly and it's a pain not having them when you need them: cone spanners, pedal spanner, chain whip, cassette lockring tool of the appropriate pattern for your cassette, BB cup tool, spoke spanners, chain splitter, torque spanner, repair stand. Also buying tools in kits is also sometimes cheaper than buying them individually, in this case possibly much cheaper. Plus you get a nice case to keep them in.
