Hey probably a simple question but how do you measure your Crank? Is it from the centre of the bottom Bracket to the centre of where the pedals go on the arm?
Also any suggestions for upgrades? looking at SLX from my Deaore. Don't want to go too crazy but want quality.

That may be correct. Look for a number somewhete on either side. 'normal' is 175 mm you wont go far wrong with anither of them.0

Current Deore are actually excellent and really cheap.I don't do smileys.

Did some reading on this today. Seems like crank length is largely immaterial according to this:

Late thanks to you all guys. Went with SLX for £90 which hopefully last a long time. Had it just after my post may last year and have no complaints so far. Thanks again matt. @munkyallt0
