im entering some hill climbs this year and wondering if my 50/34 gearing is any good for climbing .
also what would be the best crank to get for hill climbs .
any other suggestions for hill climb upgrades to a cube attempt road bike would be good .

Make it as light as possible I guess, wheels I would have thought is where you should be spending your money not cranks. Gearing only really comes into if it's you're running single-speed to shed more weight, 50/34 and a 10-speed block will be fine for any course.
