my 2009 5 has the standard 3x9 XT set up
planning a change to a twin and bash along with 10 speed on the rear.
Are the front chain wheels diffrent for a 10 speed chain?
And do I need a different front and rear mech?

looked in the FAQs? try it. Chain wheels are "similar".
