Morning goys and birls

I'm awake because the mother is being very noisy while she does the cleaning etc. and keeps on talking to the father about the little brother's A-Level results.

Anyway my day will consist of putting the 456 together a bit, then I'll pop into work for a bit, then come home and clean and service the orange all being well. If the brother's results are crap I'll be staying at work out of the way.

    Green tea rocks

    Salutations & felicitations crudders!

Yesterday morning I drew back the curtains, took one look at the sunshine and phoned work to cash in some unpaid overtime vouchers. Spent the day on the Chase a grand slam of the whole area no trail unridden (some of them twice :D )

Back to work today which is just as well because I feel like toast. Have a good one

Today is Friday for me! I've had a little dance in the lift, sometimes working on the 9th floor has it's benefits. Workmeh as usual, then cake club, oh wondrous wondrous cake! And then I'm supposed to be going to a Karaoke thing...depends on how ill I feel later from lack of sleep.

Well, last night I changed the pads on my Blender's brakes, I can now stop :D They need a little bedding in, but that will come in a little time. I also changed the saddle from the BeOne that it came with, to a Charge Spoon I bought a couple of years ago. It's so much comfier! My buttocks are thanking me.
Also took the pedals off my old V-Brake bike and am going to experiment with them on my Cube. So, a pretty bike techy evening for me, which was nice.

Tonight, I'm contemplating riding it! I still want some Pikes for the Blender, but I just can't afford them :(

Hopefully my skateboard will arrive today :D

    Morning Scrumpers,

Still on leave but back to work on monday, all jobs done around the house so having some Bacon & Halloumi Butties for breakfast (again) and off to get a hair cut and then a cheeky 8 mile run.

After lunch I'm going to visit some scrap yards to enquire after suitable RWD/AWD cars with independent rear suspension for my car build project.

So mostly I will be chillin'.

    Morning Oxygen Thieves,

The car is packed up and ready to go to Bedgebury shortly - unfortunately with family in tow, but I may get a sneaky lap of the proper bit while they sit around having lunch.

    Morning one and all,

In a tent in lovely Cornwall= win, listening to the rain = MEH.
    Eden project it is then.

First time in yonks we have holidayed when the nippers are off school as looking after a nephew, what a nightmare it is, badly behaved brats and even worse, parents who do nothing about it.

So strangely i am looking forward to the massive traffic jams on the way home on saturday!!!

    Hope all are well

    Good morning Maggots..

I actually woke up at 4AM sharp, went down to the kitchen and had a micro feast comprising of Tesco mini donuts and an ice cold can of Coca~Cola. I then rinsed my mouth out with mouthwash and was back asleep for 04h15.

Anyway re-awoke at 8, feeling great, working from home, so bonus and yea, a day away from Friday :¬)
Plus I got a nice big PowerMac Dual G5 to tinker with today.. before it gets thrown into a flight case and shipped halfway around the globe in about a month or so..

Nearly the weekend. Just keep telling myself it's nearly the weekend.

It's not that I don't enjoy the mind-numbing, soul-crushing tedium of work at the moment, it's just I'd rather be biking.

Actually, comapred to the stellar levels of tedium and drudgery, I'd rather be shoving bamboo splinters down my todger than sat here making soooo many tests.

    Good Aftermorningtime Freaks!

Last day in the office until 5th Septemberness. :D

Frantically trying to get stuffs done, so I don't have to come back in. As a result I have caffine-loaded (like carbo-loading, but with lots more coffee) this morning and am currently working at warp factor 8. Could make the ride home 'interesting'.

I'm starting to get those fettling type withdrawal symptoms. I've got a few jobs to do on the bikes so hopefully will have the time to do it in the next couple of weeks. Also, I realise that I've not ridden one of my mountain bikes since April. I don't think the Coiler's been out since the snow in January. Soooo, going to be getting down and dirty on my rides for the forseable future.

I heard earlier that channel 5 are saying only THE biggest celeb's are in big brother, ha! I'm lucky that it doesn't get watched in our house so no fear of seeing it.

Work work and more work today for me. Report due in on Monday and good progress is being made. yeah!

I'm gutted today though, I held off buying some parts from on-one for a while and now they've gone back up in price. Booooooooooooo. I may have to wait now until they go on sale again.

    Afternooning chumps

Been to see the Smurfs with the kids, not too bad apart from the grim guitar hero bit. Followed this with a MacD's and Starwars IV. For some reason getting fookin soaked didn't appeal so no cycling today, feel the need to be warm so did the ironing and listened to radio 4 extra. WTF?

Dark mood after yesterday, not helped by one call from work. As soon as I build my teams morale some harriswangler knocks it back to the floor.

I have never been so glad to see 5pm....arrived at the office this morning only to be greeted by the auditors. It went ok in the end but still a pretty fraught day!

Going home to drink beer and watch the footie!
