What wheels should I upgrade to???

I am currently riding a Cube Peleton and doing a lot of road cycling and doing quite a few triathlons also! Not prepared to fork out another £2K for a mediocre TT bike when I've really only just begun my cycling life!
What would people recommend for a good upgrade for my wheels, so I will see a noticeable difference in my ride quality and speed?
Probably not looking to spend much more than £300-500!?!?
Many thanks in advance

this question comes up every other day
Try a search and you'll get all the main contenders.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
Shimano RS80s, highly thought of by a lot of people n this forum. Or Pro-lite Braccianos if you can find them as they're cheaper.

I bought Mavic Elites which are as stiff as a kitchen table and attack hills like you have an engine. They are fast on the flat as they have very good bladed spokesand are very light, so have low centripetal acceleration to counter (flywheel type effect).
High speed TT wheels replace the outer, fastest moving part of the spokes with rim. This cuts down on air resistance from the spokes at the top of the wheel... the biggest cause of resistance from any wheel. The spokes at the top of the wheel are hitting the air at twice the speed the bike is being ridden at. A smooth rim will create less drag in this part of the wheel.
The down side of deep section rims is that the wheel will not be as stiff and the flex will sap more rider energy in the climbs.
RS80 are a good wheel at a good price and if your main ride is TT on the flats, these would be a good choice.Boardman Elite SLR 9.2S

I don't know what deep section wheels you've been riding but all the deep section ones I have are very stiff and unforgiving.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?

I wanted a set of RS80's, but when the deals came up on DA 7900 C24's at £499, it was too good to miss.
The hubs are supposedly better than Rs80's, but if I had bought the 80's, i would always have wondered what the dura Ace were like.
I have had them for a week, ridden about 130 miles so far and I am more than happy with them, if they offered me a refund now, I would happily keep the wheels having tried them.0 -

RS80's are available at Planet-X for £299 delivered, which seems like a pretty good deal to me
