Replacement Maxle nut

The nut on my mates maxle somehow worked loose during a ride on Sunday. We searched for ages but couldnt find the little fecker. Anyone know where he could buy a replacement, just the nut? Anyone got one going spare? Could he bodge it with the nut from a normal QR? Its a Lyrik maxle.

    What bit have you lost?

    I lost the part of the QR assesmbily.

    The screw side plastic expander and the QR nut.

    THe expander I fashioned from another bit of plastic and the nut is just a normal nut but needs to be small enough to fit through the screw side, otherwise you need to take it off to remove the axel and wheel.

    Otherwise - could not find the part separetly anywhere - would have required a whole new axel and QR for just shy of 40 quid.
