Whyte 801

I've just ordered a Whyte 801. Was looking at Specialized's and Marin's but the Whyte just felt so much better to me.
I know its a 2012 model but Im surprised by how little information I can find about it on the internet. Does anyone have any feedback/opinions/reviews on the 801? Thanks.

    Errrrr bit late if you've already ordered it.
    Doubt you'll find much for a 2012 model though.

    Fair point! Was just looking to try and validate my purchase, could always cancel it if everyone tells me its a complete dog.

    i got the 805 (same frame) and like it a lot, can be a bit harsh to ride as frame is very rigid, also the sizing seems to come up larger i have a small and i am 5'9" 30" inseem , i use my bike beyond what it says on the tin quite agressive xc/trail riding style and only bent the back wheel which whyte replaced with a higher spec for free not had any other troubles. :D
    Each to there own really, fun finding out though, dont think many people have bought the X8 series either so wont be many people to comment
