While riding cannock at the weekend, my bottom set of headset bearings popped out!!! when i took the bike apart half the set has evaporated!!! What i was wondering is can i replace the traditional bearing race with a cartridge bearing? Or is it eaier/cost effective to just pop a whole new headset in? Thanks for any info. :?

Most cost effective would be just new bearings the same as the old.

    Cartridge won't fit.

    Or new headset.
  • That's what i thought, have some some old bearings in shed that will do for now. Will go shopping for a new headset. Thanks for the info & happy riding! :D
