    Morning fweaks

I'm off to the post office to collect a parcel, then off to Cannock for the morning, hope it's as nice up there as it was last night, I've not opened the curtains yet, so for all I know it could be tipping it down.

After that I'll be going to my cousin's fake birthday for cake (the cake is most definately real), it's a month early because she's moving abroad for uni at the end of the week, it's a bit of a nuisance seeing as I won't be able to ride with her until christmas now, not that I'll be around much when term starts again anyway

    Morning peoples!

peak of the week, hump day, whatever you want to call it we are half way to the weekend! w00t

So this weekend i am going to some small festival thing up near that there preston, the music is nly on saturday so i was going to pack the bike and hit some trails on sunday. So the question is where to go......

    My journey is Preston back to bristol so my options are;

Derbyshire (ladybower area) but dont know any of the routes as its been a very long time since i rode up there......
Cannock still not ridden there but could be a good afternoon there.......
Forrest of Dean wasnt overly keen when i went the other week......

Basically the route needs to be close to the M6/M5 (close meaning 1 hour max)

Managed to get to sleep before 12 last night, although I did end up lying in bed for an hour waiting for sleep to descend.

    Today is workmeh, as usual.
Tonight is frantic tidy up, as the movable contents of the downstairs loo are currently in teh hall and kitchen, and then start the baking, and THP will be coming round at some point. Although haven't heard form him since Monday so don't know if it's still on.

    Trains and Tunnels,
Had a fun short blast last night, i was a bit sketchy after developing a Comic slowey on the front. had to put some more air in the front before starting out, pumping away with the track pump, and it ejaculated Jizz all over me. Turns out there must of been a hole previously sealed in the tread that was a bit weak

Anywhoo a few jobs to do today but will fall past a really nice niche LBS to pick up a replacement tyre.

    Right onwards and downwards

  • Morning Crudites!

First decent nights sleep in ages, so to celebrate I'm scoffing down breakfast as quickly as possible (sadly no bacons, that comes for lunch) and then jumping on the bike and smashing it about while the weather is nice. Think I've knocked the front mech somehow as it's catching the chain ever so slightly, need to sort that out but can't be bothered to faff while there's sun!

The rest of the day doesn't hold quite such exciting prospects and involves going to a tailor and writing letters :(

    Ning all,

Todays word of the day is 'ooooouuuuuccccchhhhh' following my over the bars off the seasaw at Stainburn. My entire right side is agony, and I have to give a couple of presentations today, followed by a night out tonight. At least that should take the pain away a bit! :) but still, ooooouuuuucccchhhhh

    Ho hum.

Today will be spent in the company of our lovely HR representative, and it's a warm day so I doubt there'll be much on. Please no POIDH requests, when I leave you can have them, but I quite like my job. Unfortunately the dark side of this is the fact I've got to meet staff to withdraw some of their allowances and make others redundant.

This does not sit well on my shoulders, hence the bike's in the car for some lunch time de-stressing, no doubt this evening will involve alcohol and some form of meat product.

    Greetings Maggots.

Spent the night in Basingstoke last night. I also rescued a hedgehog from the road last night, damn, they're like pin cushions with a face and limbs. I wonder what they taste like?

Today I am feeling better, the hand no longer hurts and the ribs have stopped aching too
I head home tonight to a deprived and angry cat who will hiss and growl at me when I walk in the door.

Let's get this day done while inhaling my large cappuccino...

Today will consist of an hour or two on the road bike, making one of the spare rooms into a study for the wife and then generally bumming about for the rest of the day with a bit of Cod thrown in.

  • Morning!

After watching Great British Bake Off last night, I'm hungry for cake. I wish foxc_uk lived nearer me! :(

Anywho, today, my tooth still hurts. I need to try and register with a dentist, but am worried the only ones accepting in the area are because they're rubbish. Oh well. Needs must.

Quite a busy day ahead, without anything to do really. Skateboard ordered, so I'll look a tool soon enough

    In a bit!

    Morning turnips

Doing nothing as usual before I go to work on the afternoon shifts, a bit behind with the PAT testing though I've all but lost interest now but I really could do with the cash, so I can get back on the road and have the pleasure of post work rides over Cannock Chase or Wyre Forest :D

I wonder what they taste like?

A bit like pork. Basically you roll them into a ball, cover them in clay and lob them into the embers of a fire for a couple of hours. When you break open the now baked hard clay shell, the spines are all stuck in the clay so you have a nice, safe, cooked hedgehog to scoff.

    Good Lunchtime (ish) Freaks!

Muchly busy at work (again). Had the day off yesterday and I'm only in tomorrow, then 2 weeks off. That said, important type stuffs are happening this morning, which might mean some of my leave gets cancelled. :(

Suggestion of the day: Write to your local council to enquire what contingency plans they have for a Zombie invasion.

    Afternoon Mongs,

The hangover from yesterdays afternoon and evening beer session has just about worn off, though the neightbour with the F. Off noisy motorbike who revved it up a 6am deserves a good kicking

I've just revitalised myself with a Full English Lunch and it's off into town in a bit to get various supplies. This eve will be a bit of bike fettling and prep for tomorrow's trip to Bedgebury :)

    Meh.

    f**king tourists.

I am not a hooligan for passing within 10 foot of people deciding to have a picnic in the middle of a bike trail.

and if they've got people like me working for them, the answer is 'we have no contingencies for what is currently a fictional condition without any scientific basis or proof'

note - with slight amendment this also works for the second coming of Christ, the apocolypse, cthulu and alien invasions.

Let me know if it's good or poo - I'm a bit of an apple addict and have been considering one for a while! (or if I should just plug my MacBook Pro into the TV)!

Evening, last Night here, I shall be heading back over here soon though for sure

had a great day on zandvoort beach, not so many boobs around though today.

There was however a guy who was punching above his weight age wise was very inappropriate in helping his daughter change into her swimming costume, and her helping him into his speedos. Was even funnier that when they went for a swim a seagull flew off with her brassierre
