Any idea what has happened to him? He seemed to be going very well early season-I believe he was then ill which meant that he missed the first two GT's of the year. I must say, I thought that he would be riding the Vuelta? Is he one of the riders that Sky are rumoured to be culling?

    He had bronchial pneumonia. He rode Tour of Poland recently, showed quite well. I don't see Sky ditching him, he's an asset IMO and a great rider.

    If you look up the CQ ratios - then he's done extremely well - especially on such limited racing. He was up with Contador early season, then got ill and only came back racing after the tour.

    He's probably doing the Tour of Britain ? He must want to improve on his second place when he rode for Barloworld ?

    Had a very good Tour of Poland, was right up there until the hilliest stage.

    More than a great rider, a top 10 in a hard hard race with all that time off!
    Helmand Province is such a nice place.....

    And now he's in the Sky line up for the TOB. Kennaugh is injured ?

    Not sure why he wouldnt be in the line up anyway - 2nd place when he was in Barloworld is the best a brit has done in the home tour ?
