Can I get QR15 fork to fit a QR9 wheel

Want to upgrade the fork on my old mountain bike as the current one is so stiff it may as well be a solid fork. Want to upgrade so I can lend it to friends to try some mountain biking to see if hey enjoy it and current fork is too harsh. So I don't want to spend too much, seen some good value on some second hand forks with QR15, just wondering if I can get these to fit my standard wheel with some off the shelf spacers so that it's safe to use.

    Cheers for quick reply, don't want to convert hubs, will just wait for the right priced QR9 fork to come up. No rush as I don't use that bike myself anymore.

    It's not hard to do if you have the right hub, sometimes just a matter of a few spacers...
