Northumberalnd routes?

Hi,
I'll be in Northumberland for the next 10 days. Are there any routes or climbs you can recommend?
I'm on a 'family' holiday so will have to spend some time doing fun inclusive stuff, but I should be able to sneak in a couple of longer rides and daily early morning 'rides to the paper shop'. I might also try the 'ooh, look my bike's in the car, why don't I ride home from here while you get the dinner ready?'
I've noted the Winters Gibbet climb at Elsdon (thanks to 100 Greatest Cycling Climbs) so I'll head over that way.
