    Ahh...the lovel Royal Mail bikes.
    They're designed to take abuse so I think it'll be great for year-round commuting.
    Though...not sure you'll appreciate it's bomb-proofness if you've a lengthy & hilly commute

    I'm still using the GPO tyre levers my father was issued with in the '50s or '60s :-) Much better than the modern toys.

    Cheers not particually hilly and only 8 miles each way at least no one will try to steal it. It also has a bit of understated class a bit like a connoisseurs bike.

    unless you work for Royal mail/Post office surely obtaining one would involving some scrote nicking one for you - unless of course they are available to buy in the shops.

    Assuming you dont already work for RM/PO in which case it wouldnt be commuting - it would just be working!!
