I saw this and thought it was a good idea to show new cyclists non-cyclists and the women in the office who are constantly on some fad diet.

It certainly does show non-cyclists...there was one in Blackpool on Sunday and half the roads were closed off! The locals moaned like hell

I did one loop of it, and thought it was pretty good. I sympathise with the people moaning about the road closure signs being exactly where the road shut and not further away, but the people who didn't know about it should just have picked up the gazette, listened to the radio or driven around town...plenty of notice!
I work at the footy ground on matchdays, so had to be there early otherwise i'd have made full use of the ride all day!
I do believe a couple of my comments are on the gazette website......just winding people up of course0 -
I did the Leicester Ride last year, would have got a 10mile TT personal best if it wasn't for those medalling kids.0
