Hi Can anyone help me with this??
I bought a specialized hardrock sport disc last year to get me into the sport, I am now totaly in love with moutain biking but my dilema is do I have a bike that's worth while upgrading all the components or should I jsut buy a new bike with decent components??
Help anyone :?

Good frame, worth looking at forks initially and other stuff as it wears out.I don't do smileys.

Seconded, the Spesh's often have lopsided spec's in that the frame is far better than the rest of the bike, so well worth upgrading, consider the forks first, but check your wheels as some Spesh's have very heavy rims (I have a spesh rear wheel that weighs nearly 1.4Kg without a cassette, the replacement weighs 1.25Kg with a cassette!) in which case you may get some 'ok' wheels used that make them worth doing before the forks.
SimonCurrently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
