Hi All,
I've just found out my year's travel insurance cover doesn't include Downhill. I'm travelling to Morzine for a week's DH on Saturday and want to make sure me and my bike are covered for accidents/damage.
Any tips on the best value company/cover?
Cheers,
Ian

I've always used the BMC (British Mountaineering Council) for insurance and gone for ROCK cover.
This covers most things including MTB and because it's a 'high-risk' sports insurance they are less likely to quibble.
Only issue is that you have to be a BMC (or affiliated member) which could push the price up.0 -
Snowcard and Dogtag are the 2 to look at. Insurance is a wee bit complicated for me and Dogtag didn't really handle that very well but most people recommend them. Snowcard seemed a lot more flexible/practical.Uncompromising extremist0

I've always used Snowcard which has been a straight forward process.0
