local rides near nuneaton, warwickshire

Hi im new to mountain biking and recently went to cannock chase and loved it (found it very hard tho), just wanted to know if there is anywhere closer to nuneaton just for a local ride because cannock is an hour away.

    Plenty of byways and bridelways to batter around (some of them do get real claggy in winter though). Cov has two mountain bike routes based from the Country Parks. One from Ryton Pools and another from Coombe Abbey.
    How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.
