Stu's done 72mph drafting a motorbike... I've hit 90km/h behind a truck, it's not all that much. Fairly scary, but not too bad.

A road bike can stop faster than an HGV.

I was slipstreaming a golf on the way to work last week and a dog jumped up barking at the back window - causing unwated items in back of the lycra................. :)

only if you know the HGV is stopping, that close you wont see the brake lights!

Just under 100 km/h slipstreaming a truck!! Even braver than El Capitano! :D:D:D

I clocked 57mph drafting on the commute last year

As Chris says, you can outbrake a HGV/Bus on a road bike (in the dry...). But you have to ride watching their brake lights. Really can't recommend anyone, who isn't 100% sure of their bike and their bike handling skills (so basically everyone on here  ) from doing this.

A follow through while wearing lycra would be easy for other people to spot
