I'm sure it was a great trip, but was bored by the time you did up your shoes.
Nice home movie, but ...I don't do smileys.

Really nice production and it looks like you guys had a tons of fun up there
That airbag looks like fun too, but the crash at 16m40s looked a little painful..0 -
I enjoyed it, looks like you had a good time.Trek Fuel Ex 9.8 2010

Bennet346 - Bugger off, you know how much gaffa tape we went through to get those camera angles!! Enough to tie a large lady to a bed. That's how much. What you do with said lady is of course entierly up to you.
Cooldad - yup, I suppose it it just that, I've coposed it as a nice bit of memorabilia from our trip. I'd have spent far less time riding if I'd have gone for more camera work.
Raymondavalon, Stumpy, Scrappa - cheers! No riders were severly injured or maimed in the making of this production. Just goats (nearly).
Howard - pull your finger out next year then I'll get a van and more of us to go.0 -

Fantastic riding on that. I thought i t brilliant at the start with your drive down. Wish i could get a few of the guys together for a jaunt like that, sadly nooooo. You lost points for what looked like wilko chain lube :P0

Like most mountain bikers, I'm still awaiting the launch of nut lube. By comparison, everything is a substandard product.0 -
Fair play to you mate, I thought it was very good.
It's easy to criticise, but I know for a fact it's better than I could do!2011 Cannondale Trail SL 29er HERE0 -
Cool, cheers. I've just watched it back this eve and can in understand the criticisms of it, lots of shots drag on a bit, I completely forgot to take some scenery shots, and some more panning shots would have been good... But we did have to fit riding in after all. Glad you enjoyed.0

bluechair84 , managed to sort out a trip to morzine in july/august. Taking 140 AM's, any names of specific trails you think would be good for me to check out. Not to fussed about wood work and jumping. Where do i look for the inflatable crash bag, be good to try that.0

Not sure really, we were hitting the DH mainly. But there's plenty of routes coming down from each lift that there will be something for you. Les Gets had routes through the woods that were really awesome. The airbag was in Chatel and there was some other cool stuff in that valley too. You'll have a wicked time (take plenty of spares, they're silly expensive out there)!
I'd forgotten about this thread, but I edited down the 16min video to 4min here. It's a bit more palatable.0 -
Man I'm envious.
If I could show such a video to my mates I would be dead chuffed.
Thanks for sharing.0 -
Cheers Blue, I enjoyed the vid the first time around but that was great too. I mess about with vids myself, it's hard to chop certain bits out because every bit of the ride means something to you personally. I always do a vid when riding the peaks with my mates. just come back from wales the other week and deleted my helmet cam footage by mistake (wounder). Got me a go pro now for morzine. Gonna do some arty time lapse too
What spares?
I was packing downhill tubes, spare mech and hanger, pedals, set of tyres. Tools
spare chain0 -
yeah, that sort of thing. Spare tubes too. I know what you mean, getting that 16 mins into one four min song was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I imagine it being on a par with living in a post-apocalyptic world and having to 'edit out' one child over another because you haven't enough food to feed them both.0
