Clubs in Essex Area

Anyone know any good clubs in the Essex area? Never joined a club before and want to do more rides so recommendations are welcome :)

    Well, we have a club in work at Ford. Despite it being called the Ford Cycling club, it was only named as such because it got started at work. The company has no affiliation with us at all.

    I am a member of the Chelmer Cycling Club in Chelmsford. www.chelmercc.org.uk

    It would probably be worth you riding at the weekend with a few of the clubs you find out about. You can ride with us a few times without joining and other clubs may allow that too.

    You can then gage which suits your needs best, what the other members are like etc..

    Hi there, Essex Roads are in Billericay, we ride every Sunday, leaving from just behind the Iceland, there are normally three groups that go out with all different speeds and distances.
    Hope you find a club.
