Cube Ringle Wheel Set

Hi, I've seen someone selling a set of wheels from a Cube Stereo which is a downhill bike - Spec: 26", 15MM FRONT AXEL and 12MM SYNTAC 142 MM WIDTH REAR AXEL. I've got a Hardtail Cube Race and was wondering whether they'd fit straight onto my bike? He mentions a possibility of an "adapter kit to change them to normal fitting", I have no idea what that means!
Basically I just want them as a spare set, one set for road (semi-slick) and the other off-road, then I can just do a quick swap whenever needed.
Thanks for advice in advanced, I think I've put this in the right forum.

the front may be sortable with a new reducer axle. but the rear ? really need to know EXACTLY what hubs are fitted. if Ringle hubs which?
but the rims are really way to heavy for an XC bike.
and I bet they are not cheap."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Pretty much just as quick to change tyres instead of wheels as chances are you will need to realign calipers and index mech each time.I don't do smileys.

WoW! Thanks for the quick replies. They're currently on eBay at £61, so seem cheap to me??? :? . Weight etc, you see this is why I asked, I've no idea on this kind of minute detail, so I'll take both sets of advice and leave it...
Appreciate your help 8)0 -

new for £85 and will fit the bike (you may need rotors to fit). there may be better deals but I have not done any looking."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

They need centrelock rotors, not six bolt. On One are selling 160mm for £4.99. Deals on 180 you'd have to hunt down.
Or you can get adapters so you can use 6 bolt rotors.I don't do smileys.

those are a splined fitting rather that a 6 bolt fitting. adapters can be had to allow 6 bolt discs to be fitted to a splined disc fitting."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

IMO you'd be better off with the wheels nick linked too, and they are only £77 with Merlin's VIP discount. Then £19 for the rotors

Ok??? For future reference, is that because of the wheel or my bike which isn't 6 bolt fitting? :?

it is all hub related.
