Removing stuck centre lock rotor

Anyone got any tips on removing a stuck centre lock ring? Am using a standard cassette tool and even when placing an old pipe over the handle I can't budge it.

It was tightened by my LBS but that is a 30 min drive away. Anything else I could try before I get in the car?

    try holding the tool in a vice then using the wheel for leverage, also you can fit the qr lever too keep the tool in place

    push down. you can get more force.

    Thanks for the help guys... managed to get it off eventually. Took it to the garage next door and they got it off with an air gun!
