My day would appear to consist of a lot of testing. A lot of tedious testing. :?
Still; pays the bills! 8)
Tonight will feature watching copious amounts of The Wire (final series) and cleaning the bike after following the dog yesterday. How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

good weekend, no riding for me which is the first time in what feels like years.
Played on the Wii with No1 and discovered a few things, 4year olds dont like loosing, I have lost weight 8) and i hurt more playing on the Wii than i do if i have had a hard race!
Anywhoo on with the grind0 -
I learnt something yesterday afternoon - do not teach the rules of chess to a 6 year old who speaks english, french and spanish. I lost continually after the 3rd game.
anyway works not too bad today, exam results are in for my H&S course, Distinction and average of 72% which puts me in the top 0.5% of the country. Should add a bit of weight to my CV! Time for bacon......Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Back at work, oh joy and rapture.
Ended up not going to the cinema last night, but did go see THP... much fun was had.
First physio appointment today for the tendon. Hopefully I won't be more crippled afterwards, I've just started being able to walk without a limp.
Tonight I will be trying to make a head start on cleaning and tidying ahead of a small gathering of people at my house on Saturday night. Although the sun's out, so if I'm not totally crippled I might go for a quick spin round the lake again.
Better get on with some work then.
Kisses

Maanin ahl. Hope you were able to take advantage of the good weather over the weekend, predictably I spent most of it on two wheels I frickin' love the summer. Bit of a birthday party on Sat night for one of the family had loads to drink and still managed to put in a respectable effort on Dirt 3 and SingStar
Have a good one!0 -
Mawnin Maggots!
Home based today, just as well, as I hurt. Took a spill at Cannock yesterday and must have landed on my left hand as it hurts like hell this morning.
All I can say is thank goodness for knee pads..
So, other than my whinging about a little pain, all I can say is it's nice and sunny in the Worst Midlands and I do hope it stays like that0 -
Moaning all
Today has started with muchos bacons, planned to ride the DH bike to work as a test to see if I could ride it to Stainburn tomorrow without dying, however CBA took over, rode the Orange (in XCish spec) and was hanging by the time I arrived  Get to my desk to find 6000 odd emails, as some tool has sent a mail with an auto reply on to a mail address with an auto reply on. On Friday. :x MehSanta Cruz 5010C

Ah, the sunshine was short lived as my Android phone has the windscreen wiper graphic showing on the weather screen...
Ironically my somewhat pungent knee pads got washed this morning and are on the line outside drying out..
The AM is nearly over and I may just nip down to the takeaway for a sandwich containing that irresistible stuff known as bacon...
Ah.. and my hand still hurts like hell, so I've sprayed it with Deep Heat and am constantly reminding my good self not to touch my face with my left hand.. or I may be in tears0 -

I am aware of how easily one can injure or break the scaphoid when instinctively trying to break your fall by extending an arm out.
Due to doing Judo when I was younger, I instinctively roll when falling and I think I rolled/fell on to my hand, the pain is in the middle of the hand where the carpal bones are, so more like a painful, consistent cramp. The hand is also slightly swollen too.
Nothing serious but I can't seem to hold/grip anything too hard with the left hand, so as I am not going to be driving today or riding this week, it should heal up soon enough *hopes*0 -

Afternoon.
Off out to see if I can get my phone fixed as the insurance will take an age. My friends keep sending texts, knowing I can't read them. They will die.
I've woken up with a beeatch of a toothache. Problem is, I'm still registered with my dentist, 45 miles away. I'm looking for somethin in Leeds, but I'm not sure anywhere is taking on. Anyone any idea how long it takes from registering with a new surgery to getting your first appointment? I might have to take a day off work to go back to my original
Because of this, I feel MEH!

Good Afternoon Freaks!
Bacon, commute, fire-drill, work, work, work...
I need to work a lot less hours than I'm currently doing, but can't see how at the moment - too much work, not enough minions... Trying to work out how I can take a couple of days off this week is proving a bit of a challenge.
Forecast here is for rain at approx 16:00. Chances of me getting home dry - nil. Pity as it was a lovely ride in first thing.
Anyways, back to the hamster wheel.0 -
Afternoon fudge packers!
Just got in from a 13.1 mile run (just over 2hrs) in preparation for a marathon in November with a friend who kept pushing the pace at the start but then flaked big time at the 10.5 mile point.
Now for lunch and an afternoon of CoD! Still not back in work until Monday

Clank, ashamedly at the end of the Stegosaurus, there's two offset pieces of lumber that act as a river crossing. Following my success flying over both of them at speed on Saturday, I tried to mimic my antics again yesterday. Fail of note when I got it wrong and had a my first crash of this summer. Nothing too serious and a lesson learned.. slower next time..0 -

same day - two weeks. do both at the same time with most dentists... all depends when they have a free slot.

Afternoon all, just on my way back from edinurgh and an exceptional weekend of comedy, whiskey and food, in that order.
Dave Gorman last night was a brilliant end to it all, I'll do a proper review when I'm home

Evenin' ballbags,
I spent a day out in Kent, mostly wandering round Dover Castle to keep junior occupied - and still nearly 3 weeks of firkin school holidays left Anyway, got shepherds pie on the go for dinner, then I'm settling down to watch the box for the rest of the evening (see my PSA). Looking forward to day up in London with mates tomorrow, so plenty of booze, hookers & blow to look forward to."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered."
