Buy cheap, buy twice I always think,

So I was less than impressed when I broke my Gobi k'ium rails in half today at Glentress!! :(

Now I may have bought the seat in Dec 2009 but I hardly used my bike last winter and have been off most of the summer due to a back injury,

So I recon I have had one good years use out of it,

Is that typical? I still have the receipt and box, should I complain?

Or am I just a mean, miserable Scottish mean miserable person??

I've heard two or three tales of these breaking, but I've never heard of any other saddle breaking.

I have broken several rails on Fizik saddles (Gobi and Arione} and every time I sent the broken saddle to the Fizik HQ in Italy.
Every time they send it back repaired a couple of weeks later, or send me a new one, or, on one occasion, both.

You don't see that many breaking, but saddles bend or have the rails pop out quite often.

My Gobi's rails are bent and the stitching underneath is parting, bought it in April 2009 you reckon they would replace it?

I dunno, go on the fizik website, fill in the online form and include a photo of the saddle and the seatpost.
