Evening all,
I am a keen commuter (covering 16 miles+ a day) currently riding a hybrid bike. I am aiming to purchase a road bike with a view to increasing my mileage week on week to enable me to initially compete in local sportives in the near future and with an aim to ride LEJOG or a similar distance next year.
I have budgeted a £1000+ for a bike and was initially interested in the Cube Attempt as this appears to be an amazing bike for the money but I would not want to get a bike of this quality to then find in a year or 2 I may have outgrown it and require a higher spec as I become more competitive.
Cost aside do you think the Agree would benefit a beginner like myself more than the Attempt? Or is it a case that I should learn to walk before I attempt to run (so to speak)?
Your advice is greatly appreciated
Kind regards
Nick
