First off hey all, new to here.
Ive basically applied through the cycle to work scheme so am kinda stuck that I have to purchase by bike via halfords.
With my £700 budget, I am basically down between the Voodoo Bokor or the Boardman comp. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Spend another £65 if possible and get the boardman team using the NUSAUG11 discount code for 10% off.
Out of the two you mentioned i would get the boardman if you were mainly going to do xc or commuting with the bike and the voodoo if you were going to be doing more trail riding orientated stuff.0 -
cheers. I won't be using it for work at all, just trail riding really. So maybe the Voodoo is the best choice.0

My mate has a Bokor from last year. It is quite a bit different to this year's bike (air Recons/317s on Shimano hubs, j3s, X9/X5 and RF finishing kit) and it is not a bad machine. It is quite light and rolls very easily but is a little bit uninspiring to ride.
The original forks failed after just a few rides and it took Halfords weeks to get them sorted with Fisher Outdoor but eventually they replaced them with some Motion Control Recons. Every cloud etc.0 -
what is the better fork, epicon or raidon ??0

Defiantly go for the Boardman Comp. I Would say it is the slightly better in Spec and Looks a lot nicer. I sat on Both and feel the Boardman had a nicer feel to it!SPECIALIZED ROCKHOPPER EXPERT 20120
