Panniers on a Boardman Road Race

Is it possible to fit panniers to a Boardman Road Race for something like LEJOG or C2C, or perhaps getting the Trek 1.2 would be better as it's got the bolt holes on the frame for it.

I don't think the Allez Sport is really great for fitting panniers is it...

    Just did a similar trip with a topeak mtx rack with panniers and a dxp bag. Can take 10kg.

    3 of us used them on our carbon bikes, just need to put a strong alloy seatpost in to clamp to as that's how they attach.

    Would really recommend them, was loads of luggage space for us but we were dong hotels etc, not camping.

    10kg....thats not bad thinking about it...20kg took me around the world for 8 months so 10 should be alright for a bike jaunt...

    Maybe I better take one for a spin!
