Most roads in Surrey are awfull!!

What sort of route are you after I do a few miles in the area the roads around Chobham are popular or you can head towards Windsor or the other way to Ripley.

Don't expect many quiet roads until you get south of the A3. Try heading towards Ripley, East Horsley and out that direction into the Surrey Hills.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I tend to head through woking into westfield and out through send marsh towards the a3 then take the path alongside the a3 to ripley you could then head for newlands for a good hill, or back through send towards weybridge on the old woking road. Depends what you are after from a ride, and what time of day.

Yep Surrey roads are dreadful, man-up or head for Windsor Great Park or Richmond Park, both are pretty pot hole free!

Get yourself up through Chobham, Longcross, Virgina Water, Runnymede..I ride them all the time and they're not too bad! Roads were very quiet this afternoon too.

Thanks guys, I'm in chobham so will head out towards Virginia water and runnymede next time. I'll give Windsor a go too bit I'm unfamiliar with Windsor roads. Any in particular that are good?

Yep I find the roads rubbish especially through new haw and addlestone. Going out through pryford isn't too bad now mainly because they have to improve them for the olympics

You can do the whole lot in one loop (if you are up for it) head up Windsor Rd from Woking into Sunningdale. Then head over to Ascot there are a few different roads you can use which are sign posted. When you get to Ascot you can drop down the A332 through the park into the town and then head out along the river through Runnymede into Egham and then head back home via Virginia Water.
If thats too short you can extend it by heading off towards Bray and looping back into Windsor along roads which take in some of the Windsor Triathlon bike route.
