It's a noob question but I really want to know what a "short reach" means.
Read it in the BR Vitus Nucleus 0.2 review: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... -11-44695/

nromally it means you are sat quite upright on the bike and normallyas a result of a short stem and top tube.

a long reach will mean you are more stretched out on the bike (normally leaning further forwards)

each position has its advantages and disadvantages and what suits on person wont suit everyone

I am sorry to break it to you, but the Vitus Bikes Nucleus 0.2 it's now available for £489 in CRC.
Do you think at this price it's better than Carrera Fury (£579) or Spesh Hardrock Pro (£499)?

Better value than the spesh, probably better value than a Fury at that price, but no-one buys a Halfords brand bike at RRP, they wait for the 'sales'.
