I kinda feel like it's waving a red rag at a bull....

That's partly why I like wearing this:

I know it's tempting fate a bit but I'm also hoping it may have the opposite effect to 'red rag'! :?

It's already enshrined in British case law that we should be given six feet. Three feet is sometimes not enough.

In certain states in the US it is law (California, Georgia are two, there are others)

Potentially, I think you risk turning a bike ride into an argument, same with the I pay road tax (which I do like btw).

As for the message itself, drivers don't pay any notice to slogans on t-shirts unless they are re-inforcing a message that has already been seeded. A campaign needs major exposure on national networks so that there is instant recognition. "oh, there's one of those tops I saw on the news". You are then reinforcing a message which can work. Trying to educate via a slogan would be tricky.
Sorry for being negative but that's my two penneth.

hmm, how many drivers will be distracted enough reading it to crash into you?
The only disability in life is a poor attitude.
  • Unfortunately most motorists think this is 3 feet. ___________
