Kids novices cyclo cross race

Hope it's OK to advertise this on here. I'll just paste the info I have:
Cycle Derby Autumn Races

Note this is on the same day and venue as the Notts and Derby league but is in addition to the normal Notts and Derby youth races - it's aimed more at the novice young rider but is open to all. You do not need a BC licence or membership for this - I think there is a nominal charge - something like a pound or two per rider.

    Tom - out of interest, how do you separate the six year olds from, say, the nine year olds, or do they all race together?

    No they have age categories - not sure exactly what but there are normally 3-4 races - sometimes each age group gets 2 races on the day - not sure what the format is this time.

    Turnout is not normally huge so there are no worries about riding in proximity to others.

    Might not be specific to these races..... but if it's a Go Ride race there should be 2 races for each kid.

    With our races it depends how many turn up for each age group. Sometimes they'll all start together but U8s do 1 lap, U10s 2 laps etc... sometimes they'll have a separate race.

    Again hope it's OK to advertise this - we had some kids turn up last time who were quite keen and have since gone on and started competing in the actual cyclocross league so it's a good introduction for kids who might be a bit worried about doing the proper thing.
