I have been suffering with quite a serious back problem all year and am still unable to ride my mountain bike fully, so over the summer with the money i have been saving for a while i have decided to build this, Hope you all like it as much as i do, bear in mind i am 15 so its not going to be tottaly perfect :)

  • Nice work, looks great - there's guys on this forum 3x your age that have to go to the LBS just to get their brakes adjusted, so you can be pretty happy with yourself i reckon.

Thanks, It cost me about £150 it's a peugot premier frame their are probably better frames to get as i had to grind were the gear levers were connected but with the paint on you cant see it anyway

  • looks good :) £150 is good value tbh, much better looking than those Create Single Speeds that some people buy. though you should really take off them reflectors!

Is that £150 for the bike and all the bits needed to convert it into a single speed?

I paid £40 for a bike which i used the frame, bars, Brakes, Crankset and seatpost which needed a lot of cleaning up and the paint stripping from the frame and forks i then bought everything else seperatly online to turn it into a singlespeed.
