just picked up a 2010 Kona Sutra and I need some panniers for the back rack fir commuting and touring duties.
What do I go for?

I'd also like the panniers to be quick release so when I get the office I can quickly whip them off and carry my stuff into the office.
Cheers

I have a pair of altura arran panniers, standard pannie rattachment system that locks on but easy to remove, I think together they are about 15 litres of storage

Ortleib or Rixen and Kaul quick-release fitting.
The Sutra doesnt have long chainstays so look for a heel cutout profile.
  • I've got a 2009 Sutra and use the Altura Arran 16 that are OK for both front and rear racks and I have the Altura Dryline 56 that are ok on the rear - not had any issues with heel clearance. I also use an Altura Dryline rackpack - dead handy but not exactly the best looking peice of kit.
