Bib tights or shorts for short women..?

I've tried a couple of pairs of bibs and the bib straps are always too lose, can anyone recommend a brand suitable for short women. I'm just under 5'1

    can you not adjust the straps by sewing a fold into the straps?

    My Giordana bibs have a seam across the tops of the shoulders which has never bothered me. I'd cut the straps, take an inch (or whatever) off and sow them back up again.

    Alternatively I've heard good things about Skins womens cycling shorts (great padding apparently), the only complaint with the bibs is that they're not very roomy around the bust. The Skins sizing charts seem to work though if you can stand the prices...
