Can anyone recommend any good quality cheap(ish) clip-ons? I'm not wanting to spend more than £40-£50 tops if i can help it.

Also, what are the differences in shapes of the bars? I can't see me being very comfortable on totally flat bars, but there are a few different shapes etc. are some better than others or is it literally a saddle-type individual thing?

If you have oversize bars then you'll pay more for them. If you have the older narrow bars - then you can pick up some bargains.

Angled up is best - I had some straight ones and swapped them for an upturned angle - or else you have to really bend the wrists on them - which wasnt comfy.

Not keen on profile - their clamps and bolts are made of cheese.

    Vision are nice.
  • there are lots but the most common (i think) are either flat or flat with a little raise at the end of the bars.

these should do the job :)

I have these. They were the cheapest I could find when I bought them. They've gone up and other prices have drifted down since, but I'd still recommend them

  • Not really loads when you lower that little price thing to £50....only 1 pair there

Yes i have over-sized bars currently - i was really trying to get at if there was any real benefits of having the flat bars with a little bit at the end that comes up over the bars that almost meet in the middle after a 90ish degree bend

I got these on ebay, do the job just fine, I don't like the turn up bars at all, I really pull up quite hard on my bars when i TT, feel like i just can't get any purchase from the turn up angle, seems more comfort based to me.

Profile's bars fit 31mm but are supplied with shims for 26mm handlebars. I like my T2s with S-bend, but others prefer the T1, simple J-bend.
Aspire not to have more, but to be more.
