    Morning cheesewands

A peaceful night here in Nottingham, yet I slept worse than when it was kicking off. Long day at work ahead where we have shop fitters in, so another day of inhaling MDF dust. Still, I go away on a short holiday on Sunday so I'm counting down the days

    Morning mongs

Day off today, waiting in this morning in the hope that a couple of parcels arrive, then this afternoon I'll either be heading to Cannock with a mate or we'll be hitting the Nurburgring with GT5 then probably going to the pub.

Anyway in the meantime I'm going to watch Topgear repeats on Dave.

Morning. The highlight of my day so far is dropping the kids off at the pool. It can only get better surely.

    Morning goons.

Off into the Hague today and off to the Escher Museum. Bit wet and windy for the beach so going to get some culture in me.

    Museli and toastie for breakfast

talking of culture, Mrs G is a mong. I was talking to an American guy about Paris and she commented about how she liked the Centre Charles Pompidou. He asked "what did you think of the Francis Bacon?" to which she replied "I didn't try it, I imagine France's bacon is pretty much the same as British bacon"

I'm still recovering from being underwhelmed at Cwm Carn yesterday. Still, a mid-week day off isn't to be sniffed at.

Also, I hope everyone's seen this.

So far today, I've created a CrudCatcher Fantasy Football league (1189651-328431) and had my minion make me tea. She's also given me some dried Mango. Mmmmm

to be fair it sounds like you should get it checked by a medical practicioner.

Oh btw I got proper bacon yesterday, ordered what I thought was a bacon omelette, turned out to be 6 slices of bacon, 3 eggs and cheese on toast. I'm now physically refuelled

Another 9 hours sleep for me, and the headache finally departed last night (I never get them but had one for 24 hours!) Chocolate was the cure.
Didn't see THP, he had to cancel for the 4th time :(
See him next week now, when I'm baking for the next Cake Club. I promised he could lick my bowl out.

Right, wasted the day completely yesterday, so better get on with all my shizzle.

Had an upgrade of the command and control system in work first thing. thankfully all went smoothly (first time for everything). Rest of the day I shall be skiving as today is my Friday for I am off up the road to Fort Bill somepoint tomorrow for a few days riding, shame the weather has turned nasty though.

Today is thursday for me, and i'm sat watching the rain hoping it'll stop before I leave work.

Nothing exciting though, so I'll move on now.

    Morning chumps

Having spent the last 2 nights sleeping in a tent with a flatulent dog, 2 children and the other half I'm back at work and knackered. The only thing that kept me alive was the constant supply of fried meat products and coffee and at least my shower at work is nice and clean.

I half hoped that the yoof of Woodbridge had revolted, but clearly the Ufford Massive in their little red Corsa had failed to show just how disconnected with authority they are so our office hasn't been looted or burnt to the ground. After this weekends rumpus, I'm also waiting to see which 'edgy' piece of London the Guardian suggest the middle classes move to.

Thursday kind of ended on a turd note, thought i'd show off some of my finer football skills. Things were going great until i thought it'd be a great idea to hit a 30 yard volley into the top corner which all went to plan, the problem is now that i managed to pull my thigh muscle :( ice tonight and a load of pain killers tomorrow i should be ok to ride 8)
