Hi,

I'm thinking of moving to sti levers instead of my old downtube levers is there a conversion kit or method to do this? what do I do with the frame mounts once the downtube levers have been removed?

Might help scroll down and you will find cable barrel adjusters to replace levers but your gonna need levers to match your gearing and new cables as well don't forget, might wanna change your bars and go for internal cable routing as well.

    Planet X Pro Carbon 105
MTB Kona Kikapu Deluxe with a few upgrades!!
  • I think this is what you are looking for http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/modolo-morph ... prod20642/ SJS do a few different ones too.

You convert the lever braze-ons into cable stops and then feed the outers from the STi levers into the stops. Depending on which STi's you use the cables might have to come from under the bar tape.

When I got my first few sets of STI levers, thay came with the downtube cable adjusters/stops but that was before D/T lever went out of fashion.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
