Calais to Nice via Alps

Just did this with some friends. Very jolly apart from the fraking rain and wind.
Anyway one notable sight which I overtook on the south decent of the Col de Bonnett was a smiling guy on a unicycle!! Going down was tricky enough but I think he also cycled up.
Also on the climb up from Jausier I saw a guy on a Brompton coming down (with a large suit type bag on the front). He was sort of laughing I think.
Happy to sell route for nothing if anyone is interested.

Sounds like an epic trip. Oddly, I was thinking about unicycles and Bromptons on Alpine climbs only yesterday. No idea why, I as I've never even tried a uni or Brompton.0

harrywolper, I'd love to see your route details if possible? How long did you take? I'm planning the same trip but after Jausiers / Barcelonette going down to Toulon instead of Nice.0
