It is a funny time to do these.
One of the training weekends is during the worlds at manchester.
I amnot sure if I will do them.
They are usually two weeks before the worlds which makes them good prep for the worlds.
I may do them depending on how I feel after the worlds but the LVRC is very late and many trackies will have finished their season by then so there may be some strange results
I am sure some from the worlds will ride but not sure how they will perform a week after them.
Shame really as I believe the LVRC champs are better than the BCF masters.0 -

It's completely the wrong time of the year, not a properly representative entry as a result, crammed in to 2 days, no separate women's events, odd race formats, compromised competition i.e. shortened sprint qualifying/races and that's just for starters.
The only mildly interesting element is that there is a Keirin but then the one for our age group ended in bad accident last year - just ask Griff about it..I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.0 -
Courtney wasn't sure he would be riding. Suits me though as I have no other racing targets this year, and have only just started to put some hours on the bike again. Dai, when are you donw this way again - any chance of seeing you at vets or SQT?0

Steve, I am down friday night training and a few more times hopefully before worlds so should see me
Eddy, I was serious to a certain extent Ok there are not womens events but as you know the womens events are mostly lumped together and you know is going to win them They can of course ride up two ages which would be interesting for some of them.
The events are a bit too cramped all being in two days ( bit like an omnium) but if you look at the entires they probably had more than the BCF.This years turn out for the bcf was not that good really and the cost of the BCF masters and worlds is quite extortionate. £200 for worlds !!
It would be better if the LVRC was at least 3 weeks earlier for sure as most riders maybe be packing in for the year.0 -
OK might see you at vets then. Sposed to be doing a 10 on saturday, but think I'll skip it and come down.0
