Some nice looking bikes on there.

I used to love kona's back in the 90's, my mate had the Explosif. I had never really considered buying one but looking at a few of those on the website they look really nice, especially the 29er range. Might get my daughter the kids stinky! 8)

I had a go on one of those Abdacadabra things at bikeradar live and it was very good, feels a lot lighter than it is and the magic link thing works well, not sure how it would perform caked in mud though.

Sorry, but £1200 for the Caldera with a silver fork and part Deore drive train / brakes?! Thats just madness.

I love Kona (being the bikes that got me into Mountain Biking), but there is no way I would pay that much for that bike! You can get a Canyon Nerve XC full sus for £100 more with far better spec. Ok, so I know that its direct sale, which isnt ideal, but really, I think you would have to be bonkers to buy the Kona instead :(:(

Some seem decent. Some have prices beyond belief:

Eep, Alivio on a £1600 bike
  • Those prices... Unbelievable behaviour from Kona!

Although saying that, in the last 5 years especially there's been a massive hike in all bike component prices... XTR Cranks = £400+ what a joke!

 That is some of the most ridiculous pricing I've seen £1200 for the same spec as my pub bike that I bought at xmas for £220??? (Carrera vengeance) It's laughable, some of those bikes you can buy the bits off the shelf for cheaper. I guarantee they will be flogging them @ 50% off in a years time

good lord those things are hideous. (yes, i do realise i own the 2 ugliest bikes ever made)

are Kona a big brand elsewhere in the world, they have a massive range of bikes, but almost no one rides them.
