Windsor Bridge - whose cake stop?

Windsor Bridge - the footbridge over the Thames to Eton. Nice space, lots of coffee shops, almost no cars, plenty of space for bikes.
Kazillions of bikes. Bike heaven. So many club runs stop there for their cake stop I thought I'd ask - who uses it?
My club does - that's the "Jane and her kiddies out on a Saturday" club. We live nearby and cycle up from Burnham via Jubille & Thames , pop over the bridge for coffee (me) and ice cream (them), then back again via feeding the ducks. Little one just made her first trip a few weeks ago on her Islabike. Its a long way for a 7 yr old. She was chuffed. anyway, I digress
I gaze at you all with your club kit and shiny bikes, who are you?

I live a couple of miles from there which is frustrating as I don't have much reason to use it being so close to home.
I have used it as a meeting spot before a ride though. Very popular with cyclists as you say and its a lovely spot.0 -
If I stop in Windsor, I generally grab a cake/drink and go sit at the top of the Long Walk (Castle end) or have a pint at The Two Brewers.
Shamefully, I have been known to visit Papa G's kebab shop (which is right there) after a night out in Windsor...
Jubillee River is great for a family toodle on the bikes though.0 -
I used to drink in the Crispin , top of Burnham high street, but you didn't really want to know that :?0
