I recently found out about the Ride the Route Sportive taking place on the 4th Sepemeber. This sportive has the great attraction of going over the Olympic route! Personally, I think that this would be a great experience and as a result I thought I would let all you keen cyclists know about it.
There is more information and the chance to enter at www.ridetheroute.com
I hope to see some of you there!

Of course, you are nothing to do with the event are you? You know, what with you not having posted here before at all ever but very keen that all your good pals on here shouldn't miss this event. And you didn't "just find out about" it by dint of being an organiser of it because that would be a bit cheeky wouldn't it?
Just checking you know. Would hate to think of you being a spammer.......Faster than a tent.......0 -
Just got back from watching the London Surrey Classic. Great crowds, a real atmosphere and a home win with Cav doing the business down the Mall! I was out on the bike at West Byfleet and Esher and can't wait for the Olympics. This event sounds like a great idea and I'll be definitely be entering a\after spectating today! See you on the Surrey Roads.0

Yep, I shall be 'Riding the Route'.
In other words I shall be exercising my rights as a public highway user and not paying the £25 entry fee. Naturally I will not be consuming any of the goods or services provided by the organisers.0 -
Disappointed its not the full 250K tbh0
